maternity photos

I had the honor of taking my friend, Kayla's maternity photos. I was thrilled to take such special photos for her. Kayla and her husband welcomed their baby boy to the world around a week later!

Kayla and her husband Blake are some of our greatest friends- my husband was one of Blake's best men at his wedding. 

I've known Kayla for about 8 years. I flew in from California to visit my then boyfriend (now husband) and I got a chance to meet his friends. I met Kayla and her now husband at a Akron Rubberduck's game- (are they soccer or baseball? You can tell I don't watch sports). I remember having so much fun meeting them after hearing such great things. Although, the game wasn't memorable, the memories I made meeting them were! 

You can see their first daughter, Lorelai, make an appearance in these pictures as well. She loved my sweatshirt- I was wearing a Disneyland sweatshirt and she would point out Mickey Mouse when I was taking photos. I am now known as Mickey, to her!
