2024 SOLAR ECLIPSE

Yesterday, I experienced something I hadn't before: an eclipse! The Great North American Eclipse happened at April 8th, 2024; luckily, we were right in the path of totality. I had set my tripod up and by 1:59 PM, the show had begun. The shadows were so harsh and contrast-y, and approximately by 3:15 PM the moon had covered the sun. The temperature dropped significantly, birds stopped flying and chirping, and the street lamps turned on. It lasted around 3 minutes but really felt like 30 seconds. We had Jif out there, too (except he was sitting in his stroller sleeping). What a crazy experience! Here are some of the shots I got during yesterday's eclipse:
